GamesTown 2010
The competition has begun! They want to hear what Sparwood is doing to get in the spirit for the 2010 Winter Games. Tell your story and create an entry here.
Information being submitted should pertain to steps that you have taken to improve your lifestyle and/or any knowledge or experience that you have received through a healthy living initiative in Sparwood.
If you do not have access to a computer, pledge forms will be made available at the District main office and the Leisure Centre. Upon completion of the form, our workers will collect them and enter the information into the computer.
Then, starting November 2, 2009 the Viewers' Choice Award voting will begin, with the winning communities receiving tickets to select Olympic WInter Games events and cash prizes for upgrading local sports or healthy living facilities!
