Isn't it time this bridge had a name??
Sparwood's first pedestrian only bridge crosses the Elk River, connecting Matevic Road to Michel Creek Road.
What would you name this bridge??
Currently under construction, this new pedestrian bridge will cross the Elk River after the Michel Creek confluence, making it possible to walk or ride a bicycle from Matevic Road and the Sparwood Heights, to the 'Jewel Park'.
In the future a trail will be built to continue through Jewel Park. The third bridge will cross the railway tracks leading to Pine Avenue close to the schools.

What would you name this bridge??
Sparwood’s third pedestrian bridge will make the walk from Sparwood Heights 2 km shorter than it is now.
The trail through Jewel Park will connect to this bridge over the railway tracks, and lead to Pine Avenue next to Frank J. Mitchell School.
