Active Adult Community
The District of Sparwood is encouraging developers to create an Active Living community for 55 and older residents. A recent survey of the community showed that 77% of the population would support this type of development.
The District will work with developers to create this new community. A draft zone has been created with this purpose in mind: R3-A Compact Low Density Residential Zone.
Any comments or suggestions on the zone are encouraged and appreciated.
