Transfer Station - Open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday thru Saturday.

Remember to remove the styrofoam & plastic packaging material before placing your cardboard in the recycling depot. Its the Law!

Grass Clippings and all yard waste can be placed in the Landfill Compost Pile.

Not at This Time

This is Bear Country. Composting of food waste is not advisable.
Wood

Landfill, Wood is reused. Periodically unused wood is burnt.
Textiles

The "New To You" accept used clothes.
Rubber (Tires)

Yes

Passenger tires and those under 16" are piled at the landfill for recycling.
All larger tires are reused or recycled by the retailers.
(Check with the Transfer Station 425-0203)

Return Used Engine Oil to the place of purchase or location designated by them.  Find a drop off depot at:  www.usedoilrecycling.com  Currently Mountain Mechanical on the Douglas Fir.
Car Batteries

Yes

Return Car Batteries to the place of purchase or location designated by them.  Batteries are also taken at the Transfer Station
