District of Sparwood Community Questionnaire

 

The District of Sparwood would like to thank all that participated in the 2009 questionnaire.

 

Results are posted below per category followed by recommendations based on the results and for future studies.

  4. Council: council meeting schedules, broadcasting and minutes.

  5. Recreation and Community Services: the Rec Centre, Transit, and community events.

  6. Public Works and Utilities: garbage removal, water metering and snow plowing.

  7. Environment: bears, deer, recycling, mountain pine beetle and mosquito control.

  8. Planning and Engineering: Spruce Avenue rezoning, Centennial Square revitalization, Active Adult Community and trails.

  9. Fire Protection: Wildlife Protection Plan (includes new landscape plans for areas affected by mountain pine beetle), FireSmart.
