MICHEL-NATAL - CLUBS - Ladies
Ladies clubs were immensely popular with not just
housewives but also working women who enjoyed the opportunity
to get together with their peers and help out the community.
Their function was identical to the men's organizations
and their contributions equally beneficial to the citizens
of Michel-Natal.
The more
prominent women's clubs in the area were usually closely
affiliated with the churches in the community, but many,
like the Rebekha's, existed independently.
